Air cooled chillers are among the most commonly used refrigeration systems for commercial and industrial facilities. They work by absorbing heat from process water and then transferring this heat, meaning that they should be used in areas where heat discharge is not a serious issue.
An air-cooled chiller works by absorbing the heat from processed water. Once the water in the air handler system is used, it becomes warm and is sent back to the chiller. Heat is transferred away from the water using the chiller’s evaporator.
Hexacool process cooling air cooled scroll chillers are distributed over four series, broadly categorised based on the water quality used for the process and the ambient temperatures under which they are made to operate. All these chillers are made to be compatible for both indoor and outdoor installation. In those chillers having capacities of 15 TR and more, Hexacool offers a bare chiller option wherein the water reservoir and pump are absent. In a package chiller there can be 2 skids; one for the chiller and one for the tank and pump. This option is customised based on the client’s availability of space.
Cooling capacity range from 1.75 kW to 1050 kW.
